Hello! Welcome to The Core Mechanic, a new blog focused on the rules of 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. While there are probably thousands of blogs related to this beloved game; this one is going to focus strictly on the implementation of the rules of the game, how they play out in reality at the gaming table, and (from time to time) we may introduce a few new house rules or other new feature additions to the game.
