Its Inevitable...

Thanks to a post from our friends over at The Purple Pawn, I jumped and landed on the homepage for Invisible City Productions. ICP has been producing free games every month for TEN YEARS (!), but now after passing this milestone they have decided to switch gears and work on other projects. You can read their full announcement in their recent post "A Milestone and New Projects".

One of those projects is a new board game called Inevitable. From the designers website:
"Inevitable is a satirical board game set in a slapstick dystopian future. Every play is designed to provide 2-6 players with hours of quality entertainment, danger, violence, betrayal, mayhem, and laughs. It contains a robust amount of high explosives and dead things. It was designed by people who think Orwell's 1984 is a comedy and the Necronomicon is a romance."
The game looks hilarious to me - but I'll have to wait before picking it up because it is not yet available. In the meantime, you can follow their progress by subscribing to the Inevitable blog or becoming a fan on their Facebook page.  It should be fun to watch this develop.

If you can't wait - the very same designer behind Inevitable, Jonathan Leistiko, has already produced two great games through Alderac Entertainment: The Isle of Dr. Necreaux and Pressure Matrix. Check them out!
